The Canadian gold coin Maple Leaf is minted by the Royal Canadian Mint since 1979. The bullion coin with brilliant uncirculated quality has a fineness of 999.9/1000.

At the obverse side is the famous Maple Leaf, which simbolize Canada. Also you can find the lettering "Fine gold 1 oz or pur", the fineness of the gold and the word "Canada". On the reverse side of the coin is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the nominal value and the year of mintage.

The motif remains the same every year. The silver coin "Maple Leaf" is one of the most popular gold coins in the precious metal world.

A special security feature is a laser engraved small Maple Leaf with the year of mintage in the middle.

Investment gold is exempt from tax under § 25c UStG.
